El Beto

El Beto* is a one man hand puppet adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” molded in the world of the Mexican drug cartel and is performed by ‘code-switching’ between English and Spanish. All puppets for the show were fabricated via digital capture, digital sculpting and 3D printing. El Beto was created in order to complete the requirements for the MFA in the Puppet Arts Program at the University of Connecticut.  Runs approximately 40 minutes.
